Salmon Melt Sandwich recipe : The salmon melt sandwich is based on the popular tuna melt sandwich. Tomatoes, onions and cheese are mixed together and the cheese is melted on top.

Salmon Melt Sandwich Ingredients

2 Seafood Salmon
3 tsp Mayo
1/2 Red Pepper
2 tsp Cup pickled diced
1 tsp Jalapeno
1/4 cup Red Onion
1 cup medium cheddar shredded
1 cup Mozzarella shredded
8 slices of sourdough bread
Butter for cooking

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Remove the bones and skin from the salmon.

Step 2

In a bowl, add the salmon and all the vegetable pieces.

Step 3
Add pepper and salt to taste.

Step 4

Take 2 sourdough slices and fill over one sourdough slice.

Take a pan and heat ½ spoon of butter in it on low heat.

Step 6

After the butter has melted, place two slices of sourdough, one on the salmon and the other in the pan.

So the bottom of both pieces should be well melted in butter.

Step 7

Flip both the pieces well and reduce the heat and cover with a lid if the cheese needs to melt.

Step 8

Once the cheese starts to melt, remove the lid and add the two halves together.

Step 9

Cover the sandwich and cook on very low heat to help the cheese melt.

Step 10

After about 3 minutes, flip your sandwich, cover with a lid, and cook until the other side is browned.

Remove from pan and serve hot.
